Healthy (er) Vegetarian Chocolate Cake
The fasting period before Easter has already begun. This vegetarian chocolate cake is just perfect if we want to sweeten things up. It’s delicious, decadent and actually quite healthy!!!
So…get your mixers out and get to work.
(Did I mention that is also really really easy to make?)
10 Tbsp. coconut oil
3 Tbsp. White vinegar
6 Tbsp. organic raw cacao
3 cups self-raising whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 vanillas (or vanilla extract)
1 1/2 cup brown or coconut sugar
2 cups water
1 banana (melted with a fork)
Put all the ingredients in a mixer and beat on low speed. After they have been incorporated, lightly grease a baking pan and pour the mixture.
Optionally, you can add dark chocolate pieces (or shavings) on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 Celsius for about 45 minutes.
